Tamarack Air, Ltd. was the kind of aviation outfit that could only have come from Alaska. Based at Fairbanks International Airport, Tamarack spent decades immersed in Interior Alaska bush flying, operating aircraft like the PA-18 Super Cub and Cessna 185 on Part 135 flights into hunting camps and remote strips. Tamarack also became deeply rooted in Fairbanks aircraft maintenance, with longtime owner, mechanic, pilot, and LEGEND Vickie Domke becoming a well-known figure in Alaska’s Super Cub community. The flying operation may be part of history now, but its weathered sign still hangs on the Fairbanks ramp. This shirt brings that old Tamarack logo back to life for the people who remember it, the pilots who know the name, and anyone who appreciates old-school Alaska aviation.
